Camp takes place at Camp Gan Israel Toronto, a beautiful, fully developed campsite in Haliburton, Ontario. The property includes modern bunkhouses, sports fields, and a supervised lakefront area.
Campers stay in comfortable bunkhouses with indoor washrooms and showers. The site is fully developed, safe, and designed specifically for overnight camp programs.
Each bunk has a dedicated counselor, with an overall staff-to-camper ratio of approximately 1:5. This allows for close supervision, strong mentorship, and personal attention for every camper.
Camper safety is our highest priority. The camp operates with:
• Trained and screened staff
• Structured supervision throughout the day
• Strict waterfront safety protocols
• On-site adult leadership and oversight
All activities are monitored to ensure a safe, secure, and nurturing environment.
All meals are strictly kosher and prepared fresh onsite. Campers receive three hot meals daily, plus snacks available throughout the day.
Campers enjoy a wide range of engaging activities including:

• Volleyball
• Kayaking
• Lake inflatables
• Group games and special programs
There is always something active, fun, and meaningful happening.
Yes. Campers enjoy supervised lake activities including kayaking and inflatables in a carefully monitored waterfront environment.
Round-trip transportation from Toronto is provided, making travel simple and convenient for families.
Parents can send messages to their children and contact the camp director if needed. While campers are encouraged to fully immerse themselves in the camp experience, communication is always available when necessary.
Yes. We accommodate campers with allergies and dietary restrictions. Please contact the director in advance so we can properly prepare for your child’s needs.
Campers from all backgrounds and levels of observance are warmly welcome. No prior Jewish knowledge or experience is necessary — every child can feel comfortable and included.
